ADMISSION TO "ARTICULADO NO 5º ANO DE ESCOLARIDADE"

SCHOOL YEAR 2026/2027

 WHAT IS "ENSINO ARTICULADO"?

CMSM has a protocol with regular education schools that provides students with the study of Music and Theater in a specialized artistic education school, funded by the Ministry of Education through the Sponsorship Contract. For Music, the CMSM has a protocol with Clara de Resende, Fontes Pereira de Melo and Manoel de Oliveira Schools; For Theatre, CMSM has a protocol with Fontes Pereira de Melo School. Students will be admitted to the class in order of classification in the selection test and according to the number of available places.

CMSM is a specialized artistic school that focuses on dynamic, multicultural and multidisciplinary teaching. See here the projects already developed.

From 30 March to 2 April 2026, the Curso de Música Silva Monteiro will host a Holiday Camp especially designed for 4th-grade students who wish to apply for articulated education in Music or Theatre in the 2026/2027 school year.

Throughout the week, participants will have the opportunity to:

• Explore different areas of music and theatre (set design workshops and improvisation dynamics)
• Take part in theatre workshops and try out musical instruments under the guidance of specialised teachers
• Become familiar with the dynamics of specialised artistic education
• Develop creative, expressive, and teamwork skills

At the end of the Holiday Camp, the admission exam for articulated education will take place on 2 April, in the afternoon, allowing students to experience the entire process in a relaxed and motivating environment.

NOTE
Students enrolled in the Holiday Camp are automatically registered for the admission exam.
Students who do not wish to attend the Holiday Camp but would still like to apply for articulated education may register only for the admission exam.
