Liliana Rocha was born in Esmoriz em 1979. She began her musical studies at the age of 8 and completed the 8th Level in the Music Training Course at the Porto Music Conservatory in 1998. In 2004, she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Music - Musical Theory and Training, from the University of Aveiro.

She began teaching Musical Expression, Music Training and Choir in 1996 and has worked in a number of official and unofficial schools. These include the Coimbra Music Conservatory, where she did her professional internship, the Porto Music Conservatory, the Vila Real Regional Music Conservatory and the Maia Music Conservatory.

Between 2000 and 2014, she took on the artistic direction of several choirs, of note being the Esmoriz Parish Choir, the Fiães Children's Choir and the São Pedro Children's and Youth Choir in Pedroso.

She has been teaching Musical Training and Ensemble Classes - Choir, at Curso de Música Silva Monteiro in Porto since 2005, and she is also the department coordinator and internship supervisor.
