Born in Porto, she has a Master's Degree in Music Teaching from the University of Aveiro and has worked in the areas of creativity and motivation arising from innovative strategies in specialised music teaching.

She has a Bachelor's Degree in Musical Theatre Singing from the Vila Nova de Gaia Music Conservatory, where she studied under Professor Fernanda Correia, achieving high marks.

She began her Singing studies in 1999 at the Paços de Brandão Music Academy, under Professor João Carlos Soares.

She did a solo performance with the Gaia Philharmonic and ESPROARTE orchestras, interpreting several works by A. Vivaldi, W. A. Mozart, G. Pergolesi, A. Scarlatti, R. Strauss, G. Mahler and H. Wolf.

She premiered “Mistérios do Rosário” in 2007, a compilation of works by Portuguese composers such as Eugénio Amorim, Rui Soares da Costa, Fernando Valente and Fernando Lapa.

She has taken part in operas such as “The Magic Flute” by Mozart; “Irene” by Alfred Keil; “The Merry Widow” by Franz Léhar and “Ahmal and the Night Visitors” by Menotti. She was Sylviane in “The Merry Widow” by Franz Léhar, and Sam - the little chimney sweep – in Benjamin Britten's “The Little Sweep”.

She was part of the Contemporary Vocal Music Group under the guidance of Maestro Mário Mateus, taking part in the 14th, 15th and 16th Gaia International Music Festivals where her performances included “Sonnengesang – The Canticle of the Sun” by Sofia Gubaidulina, “Adagio” by S. Barber, “Jephte” by Carissimi and “Stabat Mater” and “Magnificat” by Arvo Pärt.

She has worked with Maestros Mário Mateus, António Saiote, Artur Pinho, Cesário Costa and Adam Klocek, among others.

She is a regular participant in masterclasses given by Brian Gill, Laura Sartti and Enza Ferrari, among others.

She completed the 5th level in the transverse flute under the guidance of Professor Carla Cabral.

She also has a Bachelor's Degree in Management from the Portuguese Catholic University in Porto.
