Andreia Pereira was born in Vila Nova de Gaia in 1986. She started his musical studies at the age of 7 at the Music School of the Associação Recreativa e Cultural de Serzedo. In 2001 she started studying Oboe at the Professional School of Music in Espinho in the class of teacher Aldo Salvetti and Nelson Alves, obtaining in 2004 the 12th year Diploma of the orchestral practice course. In that same school, she won the contest for young soloists, playing solo with the Classical Orchestra of the Professional School of Music of Espinho.

She participated in the 2nd and 3rd Stage of the Águeda Youth Orchestra, in the 3rd stage of the Youth Orchestra of the Official Music Conservatories in 2004 and also in the 5th stage of the Aproarte Orchestra in 2004 under the direction of conductor Ernest Shelle, interpreting as 2nd oboe and English horn Hector Berlioz's “Fantastic Symphony”. That same year she joined the National and Superior Orchestra Academy - Lisbon in the class of teacher Sally Dean, also taking classes in orchestral excerpts with teacher Pedro Ribeiro and Hristo Kasmestky, finishing his degree in Orchestral Instructor in the year, from 2008.

He participated in the masterclasses of Emmanuel Abhull, Alex Klein, Ricardo Lopes, Aldo Salvetti, Sally Dean, Kevin Vigneau, Paul Keizer and Thomas Indermuehle.

As guest musician he collaborated with some orchestras such as the Espinho Classical Orchestra, Metropolitan Academic Orchestra, Orchestra and Youth Symphonic Band of Santa Maria da Feira, Portuguese Symphonic Band, ARMAB Symphonic Band, Filarmonía das Beiras Orchestra, Povoa de Varzim Symphony Orchestra, Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, Gulbenkian Orchestra, Porto Symphony Orchestra - Orchestra, Remix Ensemble, Toy Ensemble, working with maestros Cesário Costa, Jean-Marc Burfin, Francisco Ferreira, Paulo Martins, Douglas Bostock, Claudio Scimone, Joana Carneiro, Michael Zilm, Marc Tardue, Peter Rundel, Christoph Konig, Martin Andre, Pedro Neves among many others. Also during his studies, in addition to having collaborated with some orchestras, she also had some chamber activities in some groups.

He is a founding member of the Oboéfagote ensemble.

She participated in some festivals in Espinho, Vila Nova de Gaia, Estoril, Aberdeen (Scotland) and Belém do Pará, and toured Brazil, Scotland, Spain, France and Belgium.In 2007, he obtained the 3rd oboe higher education prize in the Young Musicians Prize promoted by Antena 2 radio as well as the 3rd prize in the senior oboe category in the “Terras de La Sallete” - Oliveira Azemeis contest held in 2008.That same year he joined the Hohcshule der Musik und Theater in Zurich - Switzerland in the class of teacher Thomas Indermuehle.She also joined the master's degree in music teaching at the University of Aveiro, having completed it in December 2013.Guided masterclasses at the Conservatory of Music of Ourem and Fátima - December 17-19, 2013, Belém do Pará International Music Festival - Brazil - Master oboe class - June 7-9, 2016, 9th, 10th and 11th Orchestra Festival Nacional de Jovens - oboe teacher, Buffet Crampon Wind Orchestra Summer School - September 5 to 9, 2016 - oboe teacher and oboe masterclass, inserted in the 2nd stage of the Vale Varosa wind orchestra - Tarouca - August 28 to 1 September 2017 and in the 1st Wind and Percussion Masterclass, held by ARMAB on October 5th and 6th, 2019.At this moment she teaches the oboe class at the Maia Music Conservatory, the Dão Music and Arts Conservatory, Terras de Santa Maria Music Conservatory and Silva Monteiro Music Course. He also works as a freelancer in some professional orchestras.
