Violin Teacher

Born in France, she began her musical studies at the age of 12 at ARTAVE – Vale do Ave Vocational Artistic School, studying under Professor António Soares.

She continued her studies at ESMAE – Porto Higher Institute of the Performing Arts under Zofia Wóycicka.

She attended violin masterclasses with Boris Kuniev, Alexei Mijlin, Rainer Sonne, Aníbal Lima and Roman Nodel, and chamber music masterclasses with António Saiote and the Borodin Quartet.

She has worked with the Porto Casa da Música Orchestra, the Beiras Orchestra, the Algarve Orchestra, the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra, the North Orchestra, the Iberian Roots Orchestra, the “Sine Nomine” Orchestra and the Centre Orchestra, with maestros António Saiote, Yuri Nasushkin, Bruno dal Bon, Cesário Costa, Robertas Severnikas, Rodolfo Saglimbeni, Johannes Skudlik, Filipe Veríssimo, Toby Hoffman, Cesário Costa, Pedro Neves, Jean-Marc Burfin, Sérgio Alapont and Emilio Pomarico.

As a member of the APROARTE Orchestra, she has accompanied soloists Mischa Maisky and Boris Berezovsky.

He has been a member of the Espinho Classical Orchestra since 2006.

She takes part in chamber music concerts and has performed for the Medical Association, at evenings in Quinta da Bonjóia, in the FEUP auditorium, Espinho Multipurpose Pavilion, Viscondes de Balsemão Palace, Cupertino de Miranda Foundation, Circo Theatre, Vila Real Theatre, etc.

She is now a violin teacher at CMSM – Curso de Música Silva Monteiro.
